Entourage is an

Upcoming Season
Production on Season 5 began in April 2008 with 12 episodes to be initially produced. However, Producer Ellin said that if HBO decides to order more at the last minute, then they're up for it. Season 5 planned to satirize the writers' strike but has been scrapped as Ellin feels that most people are over the whole debacle and would prefer to deal with different material. Due to the writers' strike, Season 5 will premiere in September 2008 instead of June.
Among the story lines for Season 5 will be the return of
Domenick Lombardozzi, the actor who plays Dom. Ellin wrote him in intending for Dom to be a permanent fixture of the entourage. Unfortunately, he didn’t anticipate the audience’s negative reaction to the character, which ultimately led to Lombardozzi’s early exit. Ellin has a personal goal to bring Dom back, but this time with a storyline viewers can empathize with. Giving him terminal cancer is one idea that was considered. It is also rumored that rapper Saigon will return to the series in Season 5. Ellin says he's four more seasons of scandalous behavior in reserve, implying that Entourage will probably run through season eight.

July 18,
2004, and has since produced 4 seasons with 54 episodes. HBO has renewed the series for a fifth season, with new episodes originally slated to air in June of 2008, but were delayed to September 2008 due to the writers strike.

The series is aired weekly on the subscription based channel Arena in Australia and HBO in India. In Serbia it's aired on the subscription based channel HBO. It is broadcast on ITV2 in the UK who have a deal for all 4 seasons. The 4 seasons were also featured in Israel in the cable/satellite "Channel 3". In Portugal the series is broadcast in open-air private channel SIC, and on the cable channel MOV, goes on season 4. In Ireland, it's broadcast on RTÉ. In Turkey it's aired on the subscription based channel ComedyMax. In Denmark, it started airing on Wednesdays at TV2 Zulu starting March 5, 2008.The series is also aired on Canal+ which is available in Scandinavia. In France, the series is broadcast on W9. In Japan, the series currently runs on cable television (FOX life HD).
In Italy it's aired by satellite channel JIMMY.
